Terms and Conditions for Brian’s Electronix Services
1. General Agreement: By submitting your device to Brian’s Electronix Services for repair or servicing, you, the customer, agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Diagnostic Fees: A non-refundable diagnostic fee will be charged upfront for evaluating the device. This fee will be credited towards the final repair cost if the customer chooses to proceed with the repair.
3. Repair Estimates and Authorization: Upon diagnosing the issue, a repair estimate will be provided. No repairs will be carried out without the customer’s authorization. The estimate is valid for 7 days from the date of issuance.
4. Upfront Payment for Parts: If the repair requires the purchase of parts, customers are required to pay a percentage or fixed amount as a deposit prior to ordering the necessary parts. This deposit will be applied towards the cost of the parts and the final repair. Failure to pay this deposit within 7 days of receiving the estimate may result in delays or cancellation of the repair service.
5. Unclaimed Devices: Devices that are not claimed within 30 days of repair completion will incur a storage fee of $5.00 per day. If the device remains unclaimed for 60 days, it will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of or sold to recover costs.
6. Warranty: All repairs come with a 90 warranty on parts and labor. This warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not apply to unrelated faults or failures. Warranty is void if the device is tampered with by a third party or if damage is caused by user negligence, misuse, natural disasters or accidents.
7. Liability: Brian’s Electronix Services is not liable for any data loss that may occur during the repair process. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all data before submitting the device for repair. The company will not be responsible for any damage caused by pre-existing conditions or non-repairable parts of the device.
8. Repair Duration: Repair times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and parts availability. While we strive to complete repairs as quickly as possible, no specific time frame is guaranteed unless explicitly stated.
9. Replacement Parts: Unless otherwise stated, all replacement parts used are either original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or high-quality aftermarket components. The customer acknowledges that third-party parts may be used unless OEM parts are specifically requested and are subject to availability.
10. Non-repairable Devices: If a device is deemed non-repairable after diagnosis or if the customer declines repair after diagnosis, the diagnostic fee remains non-refundable.
11. Payment Terms: Full payment is required upon completion of the repair. Devices will not be released to the customer until the balance is paid in full. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, and mobile payment options.
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions: Brian’s Electronix Services reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the customer when they apply.
